TAG: My Beauty Urges

This tag was started by llymlrs so you can visit the original post on her blog!  The idea is to state your deepest beauty urges - things you want to do but are still too scared to go for!

GO UNDER THE GUN: For a very long time I’ve wanted my nose pierced.  In fact, two summers ago I pierced it myself in my friend Josh’s house while staying in London for a week.  That didn’t go too well as I used too thin a needle, so the piercing then wouldn’t fit!  If I was doing any other degree I would definitely go for it, however as a law student I’m a bit scared.  I know these things heal, but the worry is still there!

TO CHOP OR NOT TO CHOP: About two and a half years ago I went straight from very long hair to a pixie cut in one sitting!  That was very daring of me and I thought it suited my face shape very well, but the maintenance it requires (constant haircuts, effort of styling, etc) meant that when I started university, I just let it grow.  My hair is now a few inches below shoulder length and I am in that dreadful predicament of deciding whether to go back to my elvin ways or to continue growing it.. or to keep it at this length?  Too much hair talk.

THE CONSTANT (MONEY) STRUGGLE: I am a self-confessed serial spender.  I have too many clothes for a family of 6 never mind one tiny individual.  In the past year I have managed to cut back on my clothes spending drastically, however my beauty cabinet has grown to much more than a cabinet as a result.  I am always tempted to splurge, especially when I’ve had a busy week.  I had been very well behaved as of late, but as seen in a recent post I have a tendency to crash and burn.

What are your beauty urges? :)

    1. My advice is to wait three months before doing it, if you still want to after three months of mulling it over then go for it! :)

  2. I always have that problem! When I stop spending on one thing I just divert all my money into another thing! Your post made me smile :)
